How to Bring Little Coder to your School?

Jump Into 21st-Century Education!
  • Level 1
Coding Basics & Computer Game Development
Students will learn how to create computer programs to solve problems and develop computer games. Students will have an exciting and engaging experience while learning computer science principles like loops, conditional statements, variables and many others.
  • Level 1
Students will learn to assemble a robot (mBot) and creating simple programs to control the robot. Visual Programming software is used to help students understand computer science principles. Also, they will experiment with reading data from the robot sensors and develop programs to control robot action and activation of lights, motors, buzzer, line tracker, etc.
  • Level 2
    Advanced Game Development
Students will take their skills to the next level, learning advanced game development skills to create different awesome games.
This course, in particular, offers many opportunities to develop higher order thinking skills like understanding and applying systems thinking, creative problem solving, storytelling, programming and collaborating with others.
  • Level 2
    Mobile App Development
Students will learn how to design and develop Android applications as inclusive and straightforward as possible, so kids can bring their ideas to life. Even students with a non-technical background are empowered to create apps and games with ease using Visual Programming interface.
  • Level 0
    Early-Reader Coding Course (Ages 5-7)
This program is designed for students aged 5 to 7 years old, who are early readers. Students will learn computer science basics that will help them to create computer and robot programs. By the end of this program, students will create their very own custom computer game, interactive story and a robot program.
Who we are?

Little Coder team has long experience in teaching computer science. We work with schools in WA to introduce computer science basics in a format that's fun and accessible to the youngest learners. All of our instructors have Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Why is coding important?

Code powers our digital world. Every website, smartphone app, computer programme, calculator and even microwave relies on code in order to operate. This makes coders the architects and builders of the digital age.
Over the next 10 years, it is estimated that there will be 1.4 million jobs in computer sciences and only around 400,000 graduates qualified to do them.
Jobs not directly linked to computer sciences - such as banking, medicine and journalism - will also be affected by the need for at least an understanding of programming and coding.
Coding is not only something that could lead to a career or business later in life, but we have found that learning basic coding is a great avenue for learning logic, critical thinking, and how to use patterns and processes to achieve the desired outcome.
